whereas it seems to me that you are asking quite simply about a good MOVE program for the odd occasions that it is required on a general Copy/Paste type basis.
I may well be wrong in my thinking but it does seem that many of the replies here so far seem to be thinking in terms of moving big batches of iles or doing that routine as some sort of backup. What do you use in windows for syncing files and what are your backup programs? For example do not delete the file at source before is copied at destination and the checksums are checked, when one is using a "serious" move. In my lovely linux I use rsync to copy files between destination and to be sure that things went out correctly.ĭo you have in mind any decent tool that can move and copy files in a "serious" way.
